When to Tap

I came in late in the game last year due to a work trip to TN, so I was gone for the first 2 weeks in March. I dont know when you guys got your taps in so I figured I would just ask :)

March 16th 07 and March 16th 08 for me. Really depends on weather. I live next to an old farmer and I usually go by him.

We typically tap late Feb or March 1st. Depends on the weather. I have tapped as early as Feb 10 and for many years it was around 20-26 Feb.. Being in Brunswick I would guess late Feb should work pending a real cold spell. Being nearer the coast the weather is definatly different.

between feb 20 and march 5 i like the 27, ive tapped on the 27 3 out of the i think 5 years ive been sugaring and have had an amazing year every time i did it on the 27 i had a good year on the 17 to (of feb) well come to think of it i havent had a bad year, but i would go some where around the 27, on it if you can, maybe my good luck will rub off on you

I tap between the last week in feb to the first week in march.depending on the weather
