wanted to know if a vacuum booster is only used on a wet dry line system or if it could increase vacuum on a one single wet line system

You cant increase the vacuum but it will help maintain it out in the woods by way of a dry line

A vacuum booster in a single line system can help maintain an even vacuum level. Basically, a large tank is placed in the system a ways out into the bush. If a slug of sap cuts off the vacuum from the pump for a few seconds, the "reserve" vacuum in the "booster" will assist in keeping some vacuum on the taps above the temporary blockage. That is what is supposed to happen in a milk system anyway. My $.02.
