I would like to thank Chris and Kim for starting the mapletrader many years ago ... 2002 I believe. it took a lot of thought put into this site to get it to where it is today. I myself have learned almost all of what has made me a better producer here! without a site as this one we would be hardpressed to get information as quick and up to date as we have here!
It is with great honor to take the reins of MapleTrader.com , I love this site and want to see it continue to be the knowledge base for Maple Syrup info on the internet.
I am sure I speak for everyone here and most who have visited, that we thank you for your years of Sponsoring/financing and running MapleTrader.com
And I am glad that you will continue to stay around behind the scenes, hopefully still popping in and posting about your operation and lending us your knowledge.
And as always, I know many of us will still be going to the MapleGuys for our equipment and sugaring needs!!
Again Thanks

"Hi, my name is Eric, and its been two days since I've been in my sugarhouse- but only 3 hours since I've been on the Trader."
thanks again...

I'd also like to thank Chris and Kim. They put in a lot of hours when the site got hacked or needed attention. I'm sure Jim will do fine.

Before, I used to get sand kicked in my face. But then I found the Maple Trader, and now all the ladies want to hang out with me!
Okay, just my wife.
Sometimes.
And she still kicks sand at me.

But still, HOORAY for Maple Trader! I can't believe I managed to sugar for four years without it.

I know that it is against the rules of the forum to enter excessive Thank You's but Chris and Kim deserve a big one for creating this site. I have learned alot and made some good friends over the years. Thank You! Thank You! Thank you!
Jim I'm sure that you will do a good job of maintaining this valuable tool for all sugar makers.

Russ, This is one of those exceptions!! we can try to thank them as much as we can but it will never be enough for what they have given us! this site set the standard for Communication in the Maple world, with the amount of "real" members(so many fake spammers daily)that the trader now has, shows the interest from the maple world the want to Learn more... Help more and Talk more Maple!!!

I also would like to thank Chris and Kim. When I first thought of expanding from 2 gallons last sugaring season I was thinking I'd tap 50-75 trees. I'm now at 300 taps and looking to keep growing from there. Without this site I wouldn't have the knowledge base I have now, the friends I've made, and a place to bounce ideas off a wide variety/levels of producers.
I agree with Russ. It was a rough 3 days without the 'Trader site when I lost power due to the ice storm.
Thanks and good luck growing your business.
Thanks for getting it going! I am sure that without you we wouldn't have had any place to talk maple and our spouses and co-workers would have tired of hearing about tubing and tapping long ago.
Thanks again!

Thank you's are definitely in order for everything they've done for us here at the Trader. The help that this forum has provided to maple producers big and small cannot be quantified!

I agree with everyone, the amount of knowledge and help on this site is endless. Its almost as endless as the support you get from the Maple Guys themselves. I'm not sure what I appreciate more, the Trader or the service from the equipment ordering portion of Maple Guys

Thanks Maple Guys for starting "Maple Trader.com".
The info that is on this forum is way beyond any dealer (no offense Maple Guys), it comes from the users and that is very important.
I have made many friends here and am in hopes to making many more.
Again, thanks for starting this forum.
I know the folks that are running it now will be just as good!!!
Jim ............. your nuts!!!!

Chris and Kim. Thanks for the great site. If it wasn't for you folks and this site, I'd still be playing around with plastic buckets and boiling on my grill. I've learned more from the people on this site than I could have in any book.
