Driveing in new Stub Spile and Stub Adapter

This is my first year with the stub spile and stub adaptor. What is the best way to put them in,put them together and drive them in or the adapter then the spile? I know this sounds dumb but I want to go to the woods and know I am doing it right. Thank you

Drive the adaptor in the tree then hook up the stub. i think would be better than all together.

Drive in the adapter and put the stub on it with a twist to seat it.

Yep , Just like Russel said. Don't hit it afterward either, you can loosen or crack the spout, especially if it's cold !
