Slide connectors

Anybody have a trick to releasing slide connectors that hook to your mainline wire after the lateral has been pulled tight. Holy crap are they hard to slide back out! They're not bad when they engage half way but when it is fully slid flush almost impossible to slide back out.

I've always got a pair of side cutters (pliers) in my back pocket when I'm working in the bush. A couple light taps and the slide fitting will come right apart.

A couple taps with a pair of side cutters (pliers) will loosen it right up!
