If you are going to use black pipe it is best to put it up in a little warmer weather. I have miles of it in my woods and I did not have any problem putting it up.When hang it you need to stretch it tight with a ratchet strap or come along. then tie it

well ive got 250gft to go, so i will just get it up on a warm day and be done w it for this year.
i still like my maple flex though its got the lines on it so you know that its going to be straight on the wire, and its translusent so you can see sap flow, plus it looks alot nicer, especially after a heavy snow, when the trees are drapped over and there is are blue lines going every where each withthere own snow line on top. i like that look alot almost as much as i like watching the steam come out of the coopula on a cloudless night with a full moon.......... i cant wait for sugaring season thats my favorite part right there
and last year we never got one of those nights during sugaring season:(
but this year we will...........i can feel it
