no- mostly a how to on setting up simple rigs, etc...

you want the North American Maple Producers Handbook (new edition came out 2-3 yrs ago) if your looking for management ideas...better yet- contact your local county forester (co-operative Extension folks) and they probably have handouts, etc..

The N AMer Maple producers Handbook is really helpful for sugarbush management. I found a Canadian site that has a nice series of 6 online modules on sugarbush management that you might want to check out. You need Microsoft Powerpoint to view them.

Cornell extension often has speakers on sugarbush management topics at maple events like the ones coming up in Verona and Potsdam, NY in January, 2009. Check out the Cornell Sugar Maple Research site for more info.

well, I startd reading last night. seems to be a good book, but some of the figures are different that what I read on here. but this is to be expected. like it states that 33 gallons of sap is needed for one gallon of syrup, but of course that is dependant on the brix.
