Just bought our first RO

Hello every one we just bought our first RO and dont know much about one any help would be great.We bougt a Dareau Econox RO it has a 7.5hp pressure pump and an8x40 membrane.My question is how big of a permeate tank do we need and does it need to be in a heated room?The RO has a wash tank on it.

Congratulations!!! Yes, you need to heat your RO room--you will also need a minimum of 500 gallons of permeate storage.

your new r/o is about a 600 gal per hour. the rule of thumb is to have the same amount of permeate storage as the size of the r/o. for rinseing and washing and rinsing again. no it does not need to be in a heated room with the r/o but per does freeze fast so a few heat tapes work great. with that 7.5 hp how many membranes do you have one? with that size pump you can expand to two membranes in the future.
