Leader Max Flue Pan

Does anyone have any experience with this new Max Flue pan? Apparently it has drop and raised flues in the same pan thus increasing (doubling?) evap rates. Bascom's states it works better with a forced draft, air tight arch (no kidding).

I don't have one but have heard from others that it does greatly increase the evaporation. The key thing is that it needs alot of heat to make it reach its effectiveness. That is why it is not recommended on a standard wood arch. It should either be on a wood burning air tight front with forced draft or oil.
