Just a quick, and shameless plug for Bill Mason and the fine work he does. After saving all of my shekels for the past 8 months I was able to pick up a 2x6 from bill this past weekend. Great craftsmanship, and though I have yet to boil any sap on it, I can tell the welds and work is fantastic.
I also picked up a nice canner/filter/finisher...another great looking product.
Obvisouly I can report back when Im boiling, but Bill is a super nice guy, a real help and I always feel good about giving my business to the local guy. I figured he deserved a plug and kudos.

congrats on the new rig. Now comes the fun, test boil when it's installed and the real thing with sap in the spring.

I also need to give Bill a plug. He made me a 16x24 canner and 14" stack cover this fall. Quality looks great and the so are the prices.

I have known Bill since long before I was bitten by this sugaring bug. I needed a custom feed tank for my evaporator and Bill made me a nice one for a decent price and he even delivered it for no extra cost.

Josh I saw your stack/stackcover as well as your canner when I was with Bill last week. Thats one hell of a stack you got! 14"! I thought it must have been a steam vent, but bill corrected me. Your gonna have to have a heck of a lot of wood to feed that baby! Canner looked nice too, picked up the same one.
