We got an adjustment cheque from Delta Foods a few weeks ago. When we sold our bulk syrup to them in April we got upwards to $2.55/lb, less for some of the darker grades. The cheque that came recently was an adjustment for what we'd already been paid up to $3.15 / lb for all grades! It was certainly a nice surprise!

What do you mean? Did they go under? I haven't heard anything about Delta recently.

I was told that the Quebec Federation bought them out then closed the plant late last Spring.

Funny - we got our adjustment cheque from them in October. I guess I need to figure out where my bulk syrup is going before next spring!
