So if anyone knows of an attractive female that is of similar age and can cut wood, sharpen chains, split wood, scout sugarbushes, tap trees, run tubing, empty buckets, fire the evaporator, empty the ash pit, operate and maintain the sap hauler and pumps, wash buckets, flush tubing, etc., etc., please let me know.

Knowing how to cut the grass and plow snow would be a big plus. That way I would have more time to contemplate the upcoming syrup season.

Everyone needs more time for that, right?

I'm 20, my girlfriend is also 20. We had just over 250 taps last year. She is a huge help! She tapped trees while I was at work so we didnt miss a run, she also fires the evaporator and draws off when im collecting sap or she will collect and i will hold down the fort. I love her and coundnt do it without her!

York... i'm jealous my Girlfriend started me in this hobby by suggesting "we" do it "together" about 1 bucket into the season and she quit! turned into me doing it all by myself with no help! She just doesn't understand how mapling works. You've found your needle in the haystack don't lose it! By the way does she have an older sister like 23 ish?hahahaha

My name is Glenn and I'm 28. Unlike some of yous, I don't have a wife or girlfriend to help. The operation is just me and my dad. We got just over 300 taps and most of it is pipeline. Between the two of us, we get the job done.

Sugarmaker and maplepancakeman, I have had alot of people tell me she is a keeper when they find out how much she helps. She even came home between classes last year and collected sap so the tanks didnt run over while i was at work. She did get the fourwheeler stuck a few times but u got to give her credit for going out in the mud and pumpin all the sap out of the barrels by herself. She does have a sister but she is deff not the sugarin type and she is married, sorry lol.
