We got the bulk of that tuesday-very early this morning. We had 4.3" of rain here at the house. With 1.5" on Monday.
I heard reports of parts of Delaware Co. in NY had upwards of 17" of rain so much for Hurricane dolly haha

wow the trees are leaning back and the power is out for us (very unusual). We got 16'' of wet sticky snow that is the worst. It will take the better part of the day to dig out of this one.
Question is how much did you get out there in maple land?

Still snowing here. My drive way is 300 feet long and for exercise I shovel it by hand. I could barely get around the bush as it was. Have to wait till the deer wear down paths for me again.

Between yesterday and today we got 3 inches or less. It sure is fun plowing snow with a cab tractor.

I changed the wifes name to tractor today and she never thought it was funny.

We got 9"+ of wet heavy snow here. What a mess. Already had enough on the ground. Lost power twice last night 4hrs and maybe 1 hour. Power lines and tree s are really sagging under the weight. Had a few limbs come down in the driveway over night. Heard some areas just inland from us at 17".

we got about 12-13" of mostly heavy snow last night...started just as I started my shift grooming at a local ski area. With the wind, it was pretty much a white-out up on the mtn. Even with a really good lighting set-up on the machine there were times when I had to completly stop b/c of zero visibilty...my tracks were covered after about 10 minutes-
snow is pretty wet a stuck to a lot of branches so hopefully our maples made out okay...

Brandon, welcome to the trader. I have to up my total of snow closer to 20 inches. It took most of the day to clear out the yard. Its starting to look like last year hear, and that 's not good at all.

I only got about 5"-7" of very light fluffy snow total. We did have wind so it drifted in spots. I think I can still start tapping this Wed and Thurs. Forcast says 3 days maple weather.

ya this stuff wont be any fun to work in. im still shooting to be tapped by this weekend. i was out plowing at 5 and didnt finish till around 9 then spent the rest of the work day snowblowing with a 94" blower on a 100 hp kubota
We must have gotten almost 2 feet up at the sugarhouse. Unbelievable! It's looking like last year now. We must have about 3 or 4 feet on the level now.

I talked to my mom this morning and my parents got pretty well nailed from this last storm. Serious wet and heavy snow.
Here's a picture she sent me.
She measured 26-27 inches in the driveway. That's my dad's Dodge Van.

I just realized that I have turned old. I hate snow and everything to do with it. I am sitting here thanking God that we only got about five inches from that storm and I was still am angry about that.

Running on the generator right now , second day in a row with no power. My uncle about 1/4 mile from here said he measured 21". To dam much.
20 inches here. We have plenty of snow now. We are going to need to pack the trails down with a snowmobile for tapping next weekend. It should be fun.

spent most of the day clearing roofs from the latest storm. This is a job for a younger person for sure. Cleared off almost 4' from the work shop and I'm sore for it now. Do I hear any volunteers to help with the next one.
Revi, not as bad as last year yet, I can still see the ford 8n in the yard.
Matt, nice pic. I have a roof not far from there and will have to add that one to the list to be shoveled.
