Tension on laterals?

Is it best to leave tension on the laterals year around or not? I just left mine as is when the season was over.

I just leave them tight. Some will loosen up anyway. I do move some for roads etc. and I may just drop some on the ground where I am planning changes.

They will contract and expand depending on the temperature at the time any way.

With semi-rigid tubing I tension them tight no matter what time of year I put them up. Semi doesn't expand or contract much with temperature.
