Anyone have a recipe for maple cheese cake??

there's another pie that I had ONCE :( many years ago, it was a maple cream pie, a certain Mike in VT has a guarded family recipe for it, I haven't yet been able to bribe him for it! but it was the best **** pie besides my wifes apple pie!!!

I think my wife made one once. I don't recall how good it was because it was a few years a go. When she gets home I'll see if she can find it.

I made the cheese cake last night, That was pretty easy, But I also tried the recipe for the Maple Cream Pie... it never really set up... I think I have a pie of liquid :(

Not sure what went wrong... it's kind of a weird recipee having to mix syrup and heavy cream, boil it then add corn starch mixed with water... did all that as it calls for but it never really thickened??????

If its liquid, freeze it and cut it like ice cream cake. I'd bet it would taste pretty good.
