I have been asked if I would send a quart of syrup to France. Does anyone have any experiences in shipping over seas? Good, bad or indifferent.

I've sent it to deployed family members before. And am mailing more out n this week. I put a couple big zip lock bags around the jug. And tell the people at the post office what the liquid is, just in case it does leak. The only time I have had one open, was in my luggage on the way to AK. A half gallon of syrup all over my clothes and hunting equipment.

We ship all over the world. Once I shipped to Japan and it melted till it got there. One box to France containing syrup, cream, and sugar was returned damaged. But USPS did it, so they gave us a check for the amount of everything. Usually everything goes smooth. Best way to ship under 4 pound is thur the post office.
