House filter

Has anyone ever tried using a house water filter with a DE to filter finished syrup?
I found some filters on the web that would hold up to heat and pressure what dose everyone think

What are you going to use as a pump. Wont work with gravity. I use a house filter on my transfer line from the bulk sap tank to the evaporator fill and this year I grabed charcol filters instead and I didnt get 20 gallons of raw sap pumped into it before it pluged. I think the surface of the filter is to small. hey give it a try. There is a post with that type of set up and he said it works.
