Palette Question

Does anyone have a rough idea as to how many palettes it would take to make up a 16-18" face cord? I'm trying to get a sense of how many I need to collect.

i burned over 300 pallets this year
and made 50 gals and i did have probally 1 cord of splits


i was burning about 20 or so a day

SeanD, when you think you have enough get the same amount again and you will be close. I burned a trailer load that was 8 ft wide and 6 ft high and 18 ft long. It came to about a cord of wood when all cut and stacked. Happy hunting for pallets.
