Bulk Prices - Delta Foos

My father took our bulk syrup to Delta Foods in Brockville yesterday - B Grade was $2.56/lb!!!! That works out to almost $29 per 4L - Definitely worthwhile to make every drop possible!

Hey do you know what they were paying for dark? Brockville is quite a drive for me though.

I took my last 55 litres (12.1 IMP Gals.) (14.6 US Gals.) of dark syrup that came from finishing off what was left in the pans, to Jakeman's. I had 172 lbs. and they paid $2/lb, so that paid my bill and gave me $35 left over. I wasn't expecting that. :)

I'd have to check with the boss. Normally C is about $0.20 less than B but I'm not sure about D. I can't imagine what D grade would look like because the drum they gave us C price for was some nasty, dark stuff that wouldn't filter!

Maybe the guy grading it had vision troubles lol.

Hey when you said you got like 29 a 4L average, the old Imperial gallon was 13lbs and a few ounces and it's only 540ml less than a 4L. You should be around $33 a 4L at that price.
