It's Over!!!

We stopped in the middle of the week. Out of wood and the sap was getting that look to it. I'm not sad because fishing season is here!!!

Overall the season was outstanding, with many huge runs that we've never seen before. Quality of syrup was also great with lots of lighter syrup. In retrospect we were probably a week late in tapping, but a total of 50 gallons of syrup was way more than I expected anyway.

Now the clean up

I boiled for 6 hrs today and will finish up boiling tommorrow.

wow good for you thats great. we did our last boil today it should put us around 48 or so. we boiled to very end. tomorrow we will clean the pans tomorrow
