I have a question about oil arches. You see all the wood arches are tall were the fire box is and gets shorter in the back to keep the heat near the flues. This I under stand. Why do you see some oil fired arches that are (for lack of a better word) boxes. They do not narrow under the flues, at least the tin on the outside does not. Are they all open inside like a big box or is there something going on that you can't see? I hope you under-stand my poor discription.
