I was on Bascom's website looking for a skimmer and noticed they sell both skimmers and scoops with the skimmer being $5 more. What's the difference?

In 9 years, I've never wished I had a skimmer - The scoop does whatever I need.

I have found both valuable. I do not have a ro machine so foam can be a real problem. so using the skimmer to remove it helps keep my use of defoamer to a min.

I have a nice stainless skimmer and have no use for it or a scoop for that matter. I used it some when I didn't have a hood on the flue pan the first year, but since then it has been stored away somewhere.
