The kids and I put in 18 taps yesterday and collected 10 liters of sap today.Boiled her down with turkey fryer and got about 350 ml of syrup.The kids were very happy.Weather temperature looks good for rest of week.

Hello everyone, tapped 18 trees and got 10 litres thats good, we tapped 100 plus and only got that, the wind played a big factor with us .The week is looking good though.

Neil L, Where abouts in Sussex are you tapping? my sugarwoods is 20 mins out side of sussex.

Maplepro ,we are located in the Millstream area, not far from the Scenic View campground, Berwick side, 7 acres of fun, something to do in every season.My father is holding the fort until I get there on the weekend,may go for a drive in the middle of the week to check things out.

5 x 16 wood fired!!!. man you must have to put the wood in with a front end loader

Collected 20 liters yesterday. Was back this morning put in 2 more taps, nothing running yet except the 2 taps i just put in.

Well brent she dose like her wood but at the end of the day i would way rather be standing behind her for 12 hrs then boiling 12-20hrs we used to when we had a 5X12. and i have all kinds of wood we will probably make the big swicth to oil when we get an R/O. that is if the price of oil stays under 1.50 a liter.
