Hey i have 150 or so gallons of sap that is of poor quality has a eh not so normal taste, it sat for awhile. Should i drain the pans of the good sweet and boil all of that sap or just run it through with the good sweet. I just don't want it to ruin my syrup quality.
So what do i do?
Sorry about the quality error in the threat title.

Depends on the taste of it. Off color will just drop your grade but if it is sour dump it or else it will make an off flavor. Good luck, you should have plenty of new sap this morning. I went out at 4:30 am and collected so things did not run over today while I am at work. It was running steady and clear and should keep going well into the night until it freezes up.
