cleaning a burned pan

what is the easiest and best way to clean a burned pan???? NEED HELP NOW!!!!

i used spray on oven and bbq grill cleaner on mine. worked unbeliveable! also, you can use TSP or TSP substitue and wash and rinse throughly. both worked very well for me, even turned the bottom of my poan sliver again.
