The first finish of the season I got the idea that it may be a good to refridgerate it. After I packed the down stairs fridge with 5 gallons worth three people went crazy saying that I shouldn't have done that. They have no basis for their view other than they never heard of anyone else doing it.
What does everyone think? I just can't see the harm it would do and I want to put this family arguement to rest.

For short term refrigeration is good. For long term freezing is better, it will not freeze but will never mold or degrade if kept in freezer at 0 degrees. Most of us bottle it because we do not have enough freezer space.

I find it don't really matter its just if you don’t Refrigerate the syrup it is cheaper
I just put mine in the cold cellar and it is fine and don’t cost a thing to keep cold
