Tap March 4,5 and 6.Work the last two nights,slept this morning.got 2 barrels of sap and sweeten my pans this afternoon.Raining hard now,got to get some more sleep. Darrell

boiled all my sap today.Cold today,no sap and cold tomorrow.Got to put in a few bucket tap yet.Got around 160 on pipeline.

Same here in Central NY - few cold days gave us a break before it starts again later this week. Just looked at your pics - nice additions. Like the coil preheater. I use the same, but just left the 50' foot roll roled up. I put 6" lag bolts between the coil to act as spacers. I use a hot water heater pan to catch my condensate. It fits the coil perfectly. I like your hood. Effective and cost efficient.
