Well we are headed back in the am.. Between the rain and the snow, I mean slush being 4' deep we didn't do it.. what a hard day to tap, lol we got 3/4 or better of the bush done so tomorrow should be a breze for us.. Man with good walking and a few less line repairs we would of had it.. What a rough way to start. Has anyone ever thout of waders with built in snowshoes?? that would have been the ticket today..

That was with 4 of us and 2 gas tappers.. we work in teams of 2, one drilling one tapping. on the big hill sides we have one team do the upper half of the line and athe other team do the lower half.. makes the uphill shorter before the downhill starts..

Are all your taps in one bush? What kind of vacuum pump are you running? How much vacuum do you have at your last tap? Curious,,,
It is amazing that small distances make a big diffrance in sap flow,,,in Webster , Warner, Loudon,,(south and east of me,,littel less elevation),they are going great guns (Less snow mabey) but here in Salisbury its slow,,,,Good luck
