help hooking up releaser

we have a new lappiere vac system and are pretty much all hooked up and ready to make the final connections, but can't remember where they told us the wet and dry line goes into the releaser. Are there any photos of a releaser hooked up somewhere that we can look at? It's just a basic system for about 2000 taps, I can't remember the model #.

They Can Go Side By Side Into The Releaser. The Vacuum Line Should Go Into The 1 1/2" Port On Top Of The Releaser And All Wet And Dry Lines Come Into The Releaser On The Same Side. I Think Patheron Or Royalmaple have Pics On Their Signature To Help Explain This A Little Better.

1metzer; the dry line and the vacuum line hook to the same place.The dry line will pull vacuum up in the bush and the wet line will give the sap a place to come to the releaser.That is how our G/B releasers work. We have a dry and a wet hooked side by side in the inlet side of the releaser.Do you have a vac booster up in the bush?Just make sure it is above the wet line so you don't pull sap down the dry.

Thanks for your help. That's what we had thought, but wern't sure. One more question. He had the dry line hooked into the releaser, and the wet was still going into the sap tank, and he turned it on to test it and we had vac at the flap on the bottom, so he shut the valve on the wet line just to test it to see if the vac gauge went up and it didn't, does that mean we have a leak somewhere, or does that wet line have to actually be hooked in for some reason, for the vac to registar on the gauge. He just doesn't want to install that wet line till he's sure the system is working. Thanks again.

Best way to check is hook up your lines and fire up the pump. You'll see pretty quickly if there is vacuum or not in the bush.

Do you have a valve on the booster where your dry and wet lines connect in the bush? if so that might be closed and not allowing vacuum to get into the system.
