brand new cupalo

Cupalo looks great! I noticed your syrup pan when going through your album
that the float boxes are close to the doors.How is the sap getting into the syrup pan from the back pan?

The syrup pan has inlets on both sides of the float box. The guy i bought it from had it set up like that. I have been contemplating shortening the connecting pipes so the floats are in the back for the simple reason that the back of the pan seems to get most of the good boil. Does your setup work good with them in the back.

Works OK.Don't know anything different.Always boils harder in center. Would like to find a way to make it go crossflow or have a new pan crossflow.Anybody seen or have one & how does it work?
