I checked a tank mfg online, they want 27 bucks , I just emailed tractor supply online to see if they can get them. otherwise if anyone has one for sale??? I think its 8" with the threads on the outside , it screws into the tank not over the opening.

Mike I had a guy name Jay stop in today, guess they went to your place last Sat.. said they really enjoyed going, I think we met him at the Big E that night we worked .

Jim,
Maybe one of your wife's nice stainless kettle lids would fit right in there?
Always have to be thinking of how to get the family more involved!

On the other hand maybe Tractor Supply may have them:)

I lost one for my tank along time ago and when I got a replacement I drilled a hole in the cap and hooked a chain to it with a cotter pin and hooked it to tank. Atleast now it might blow off but it can't be lost.

My mistake was that I have a 3/4 pvc pipe going in the top from the dump tank.. so I had the cover hanging(had a rope on it)... now I have drilled in the side of the neck of the tank with a secure fitting for the pipe and the cover can stay on(when I get it)

Keith you get much of a run today??

Jim
Not much of a run today, it really wants to run though. I'd say that it will run good tommorrow. It will also run through the night on Tuesday since it will be raining.

If you want a cheap fix have I some aluminum sap buckets( 1 1/2) gal they fit right inside the top of the plastic tanks.
I use to have one with holes drilled in it for a prefilter.
Free if you want it.

Jim,
Nice shot of the dumping station and the truck tank. This seems to be an improved version of what I saw a couple of years ago? Nice job very clean installation.

Thanks I cherish my SUGARN plate... I've had it for about 4 years now.

Thanks for the compliments, and.... I GOT A COVER :) :) :)

Tractor supply took one off a tank and sold it to me as a special order and they will just replace theirs when it comes in SWEET :)

Thanks for all your help !!!
