Has anyone shipped syrup to Canada before?? Is there anything special I need to do first or can I just mail it at the postoffice??

Just go to the P.O. fill out a customs slip and check off gift. If you don't the reciever may have to pay to pick it up. It's been a while since I sent anything to Canada so maybee somebody else will chime in

That would be an awfully big mail bag for them to carry.
Check out UPS.com and look under shipping. Put in where the barrel is coming from and where it is going also you will need dimensions and weight. Then hit calculate shipping, it will give you an exact cost and day to be delivered.

Yes, Canada is out syrup! And my maple supplier from Quebec told me that a few of the Big Boys down there aren't going to tap because of the snow.

We've got snow out the ying-yang but we'll get 'er tapped one way or another! Can't afford not to.
I've also heard that Quebec's stockpile is gone. Maybe it's a good thing we've still got 20 gallons left over from last year...
