posting pic

i tried to post some pics of my vacuum pumps but it says my pics are to big how would i change them to put them on forsale add??

we use a photo edit program and there usaully is a place that says resize and there should be one that says for emails and thats a good size

If your posting directly from your camera, which I do, I have to use the basic setting on my camera and the image size has to be for the TV setting which allows you an image size of 640x480 pixels. Anything larger as you say, will not post directly.
