does anyone know the formula for motor pulley speed = pump pulley speed??

Rich,
What kind of pump are you asking about? If it a vacuum pump I don't know if there is a specific formula. It would depend on the rpms of the motor and desired rpms for the vacuum pump.

I seem to remember in the Grangier catalog there was a good chart talking about pully/sheave size on one end, size on the other, and different charts for 1750 vs 3400 RPM electric motors...not sure if you can access it online or not though...

I had to do similar math to re-pully some old woodworking equipment
multiply your engine/motor rpm time the pully diameter and divide that answer by the driven pully diameter to get your driven shaft rpm.
(input rpm*input diameter)/driven diameter=driven rpm
I think I got that right... I did it with a spreadsheet.
