i was wondering if any one knows were a can find a 50 mm threaded cap plastic or stainless thank you

are you trying to plug a keg, thats the first thing that comes to mind as being 50 mm thread, i have machined a couple fittings to thread into kegs before, so im sure a local machine shop could make them but probably more than ya want to spend, i recall someone on here saying they used a 1 7/8 rubber expansion plug for plugging a keg maybe that would be the cheapest alternative?

yah i have 8 beer kegs sitting around a whant to store bulk and so istead of spending $260 on a barrel i got 8 free kegs but i will look into the rubber

James check into Atkinson’s maple supplies last time I was their they had a verity of plugs and caps.

What are you going to use the 50 mm cap for?

to cap of a beer keg for bulk syrup

I use 1 7/8" rubber expansion plugs. Take out the guts and then just use a expansion plug. Since the plugs I use are not food grade rubber I put a sandwich bag over the hole and then push the plug in and tighten, then as it cools off it creates a vacuum seal. When I open it you can here the air suck in as it is opened. I have one that has threads(heineken I think) but I still use rubber plug.
