Cooling Down s.s. Baulk Tank

I am thinking abought cleaning some milk jugs filling them with water and freezzing them and putting them in my bulk tank and lutting them floot around to keep the sap cool when it warmes up. Does anyboudy think this will work?

freeze them with sap and let them float we uses to use the cardboard 1/2 gals the peel of the ice nicely ..

We use the plastic ones (family size), fill them with sap, throw them in your tank and when they thaw pull them back out and fill and freeze again. Have a whole freezer full of them now to use on the 'hot days'

I use the aluminum sap buckets and they work great. I fill them full and freeze them and throw them into the sap and they will float to top and after few minutes, dump out the frozen chunk of sap and refill bucket back to freezer.
