Any tips for this as a pan cleaner? What you dilute it to, how long to soak, etc? I wont be able to warm my pans up anymore will it still work not warming it up? Is there such a thing as letting it soak too long? I've got some pretty good scorched spots on the top of my flat pans.

I had a 5 gallon pail of it that I used the last of last year.
I would put 2 gallons ( jugs ) for 100 gallons of permeate and fill my pans right to the rim. My new pans take about 200 and a bit to fill right to the rim. So my pail didn’t last too long.
You can let it soak as long as you want. For scorch marks I use straight vinegar or even better cleaning vinegar. Even just a 1/2” or 1/4 in in the bottom of the pan as long as it’s covered and let it sit for a week or two and every day or so give it a scuff up with a stainless scrubber or stainless wool pad. Once that is clean then use the pan acid or milkstone remover. It will clean the rest of the minerals and nitre buildup. Heating it up helps but not necessary. I’ve cleaned my pans with cold permeate and just let it soak for a week or two. Then drain it and rinse.
