Evaporator Gasket

I would like to know if you put a gasket between the pan and the arch ? I have always had one, but I am curious about what others do. Thanks Larry

Same here. I prefer the 1" wide, woven gasket over the strip of ceramic blanket-type material. It's more durable for swapping pans and it stays together. The blanket type comes apart, especially when you have a boil-over and it gets soaked and sticks to everything.
Of course, I only know that because I watched a friend do that once...
