CDL 4000 tap releaser

Hello all, When cycling my CDL 4000 tap mechanical releaser is acting sluggish. The plunger on top that moves horizontally to cut the vacuum to the bottom chamber seems like it needs to be lubricated. i’ve never had it apart and was looking for information on the maintenance of this part before i go tearing it apart. Thanks
