Anyone getting ready to poke some holes in the maple trees in their area? I am going to starting in the next day or two by the looks of the weather. We will see what happens. Upmep

This is March 14 and I pulled my taps. It’s getting to warm. Made 13 quarts. Am I the Only one making syrup in Iowa this year?

Just finished my boiling tonight. I ended up with just a little over a gallon of amber syrup.
