Just got around to draining the sap vinegar out of my 4 foot evaporator and 3 by 2 divided pan, and cleaning. While rinsing I noticed that a little water would flow under the seams of the dividers which is spot welded. It seems pretty tight but I have to assume this is happening while boiling. Is this messing up my gradient , should I have the seam welded , or just live with it. TIA

Has it been a problem while you were boiling? I would say it's probably okay.

Many divided pans are only spot welded, while higher end pans are fully welded, but in use the leakage tends to slow then stop as niter fills the void.
When new welding wouldn't have been a major job, but once used the seam likely would be too hard to get it mechanically clean and as a result a full weld may not be possible or may look poor at best.
I suggest you leave it as is.
