Membranes have a brownish color

So after cleaning my ro membranes per the manufactures instructions, I pulled them out for storage and noticed they had a definite Brown color. Trying to figure out what this is from? I did not acid wash the membranes, because the manufacture of the Ro doesn’t say anything about it (H2O 300 concentrator). Any recommendations on what caused this or what I should do. Debating on reinstalling into the ro and acid washing? Thanks for any help.

I can only go by mine, but mine have some discoloration. I would say some color is normal. I would also say post a photo of them, but that's not going to work here...
Share a photo of them with H2O and see what they say.
