Does Atmos defoamer expire?

I have an unopened bottle of Atmos defoamer from last year that has been at my sugarhouse and I'm wondering if it's still good. There doesn't seem to be an expiration date on the bottle but I would hate to throw an unopened bottle away if I don't have to. Seems like a waste. Does anyone know if Atmos defoamer expires if unopened and when?

Probably OK if unopened. Should be stored refrigerated or frozen during times when it isn't being used. Best way to tell if it's OK is to smell and taste it. If there is any trace of a rancid oil or other off-flavor, discard it.
