We have the sugarhouse ready and are planning on tapping in the next couple days. Next week looks a little cold but who knows with the weather any more how much of a season we will get.

60 taps on buckets put in last Thursday. Some of northern Dekalb Counties finest fenceline beauties. Got about 150 gallons boiled down so far. Probably have another 50ish gallons to collect this afternoon.

All my trees are forest trees ,slower to get started,looking at later next week to tap. I'm not too far from you farmer 194803. Keep posting your results.

We got about 150 taps in yesterday, 90% were running. A quick check this morning shows it looks like the evaporator will get its first firing of the year tonight.

Another 80 gallons collected. I've lost count on the total already. RO is working hard, Starcat is working harder. Coming out of the tree @ 2%. The 10 day forecast looks ideal here.

Pulled taps yesterday. Buds were popping and flow was down next to nothing. Final total was half a pint over 14 gallons finished and bottled. Should be done with cleanup tomorrow.

Still collecting, some lines have stopped producing, some still dripping, definitely getting cloudy, way down on total production.

This is week 3 of taps being in for us. With the lack of freezing at night the overall sap collection totals has been down a lot this year. Probably will finish around 60-70% of our normal syrup totals. The sugar content is still good but lack of sap to process is the issue.
