I am running my first tubing system. I dont have many trees between my collection point and maples Im tapping. How far apart can my support trees be for my mainline? Im assuming that the critical thing is just keeping the mainline from sagging. What do you guys recommend?

A fence T post can be added to give support.

Lots of ways to do this. See pages 6-34 to 6-37 of the 3rd edition of the North American Maple Syrup Producers Manual. Wire with cedar post supports are fairly simple and easy to maintain and adjust as needed across areas without many trees for support.

You're quite welcome Ken. Hope one of those approaches works out for you.
