Impeller pumps

Anyone have any experience using impeller pumps for finished syrup? Out of drums, between tanks, etc.

Impellor pumps create a lot of turbulence. Use an air pump, I happen to have a couple :cool:

How big are the barrels and tanks you are wanting to empty? I am using a 1/2 inch air pump and never have to use it at its full capacity A 1 inch air pump will do 50 GPM.

40’s and 55’s.
Just dont want it to take hours

I us the air pump from my filter press. 1/2" and pumps out fast.

1/2” ones are to slow. Decided to go with either a 1” or 1.5” air pump if i can
