drill bits

i was just wondering is there a possibility that i could buy a set of stainless steel drill bits for tapping i have googled it and have not found any thing so just wonderif any one has heard of them

You could probably get a HSS, tin coated or a carbide from MSC
Most of the bits in the maple catalogs look like HSS and very overpriced.
