Junk in the Lines - End of season

Hey all,

I’ve been noticing lots of snot in my shureflo pump strainer. Seems I need to clean it daily now.
I was checking my some lines and it seems the snotty debris may be coming from a couple lines.
What is this snot, and why is it so prevalent this year?

It's all because of the unseasonably warm weather and increased microbial activity. Clean strainer and wash out tanks daily to prevent too much of that from getting into your RO and evaporator which could lead to accelerated spoilage and ropey syrup.
