Leaving syrup in the canner

Tonight I was boiling and bottling at the same time, exciting times in the shack. I have hot syrup from tonight’s boil and a filter press that’s not plugged yet. Before I clean everything
Can I pump this syrup through the press and leave it in the canner, reheat slowly and bottle tomorrow night? Wondering what you guys would do.

Yes, it will be a little darker, but will be good syrup.
