I have a triple burner grill with 3 75k BTU burners on it. The problem is, the heat is concentrated in the middle "row" of my divided pan.
This is the same thing I have just a different brand

My question is, do you think these could go in the pan as well? OR do you think I could put 6 of these (2 under each "row" of the pan) to distribute the heat more efficiently?

I THINK it would be more efficient to remove the 3 burners, and install 6 of the P burners above. The pan is 17" wide, so 3 of them I think would be perfect.
Main concern, is it does not say what their max BTU output can be without damaging them.

Actually this one might be better.

I THINK that is roughly as wide as the triple burners are, so I could use the existing 3 gas lines.
Or 2 maybe 3 of these going the long way?

Are you running this stove off a big LP tank or a small one like from a grill? I have a similar stove and have it hooked up to a 250 tank that is for my house generator. I think going though the line to the house it only has 11' WC so low PSI. I would like to get a hotter flame to boil faster. I do not have a divided pan. I dont know alot about LP gas but think that to get the 75000 out of each urner you neeed to have high pressure. Any suggestions on making this work better would be appreciated. This is a hobby that just keeps sucking you in deeper. Thanks, DJ

I built a small natural gas evaporator using stainless u burners and then rebuilt it a couple years ago to be bigger and added straight stainless pipe burners down the middle of each U.
There are air/gas mixers for natural gas on each burner. They make similar ones for LP.
I have a small partition under the front 2 burners that seperates the air intake from the air intake for the back burners which are set lower for a drop flue back pan.
It comes up between the front 2 and the back 2 about 1 inch below the bottom of the front pan, right where it meets the back pan. That is where the exhaust gasses and heat go back to the flue pan. The separate air intake for the back burners and controlling the front exhaust so it's far above the flame base of the back burners was key. Also have a very small blower to assist in getting the draft and exhaust gasses out at the right rate.
This works extremely well. After the season I will try to get some better pictures of the partition I described. Pictures I have when building it don't show it.
